The Department of Cybersecurity and Intelligent Information Technologies is the largest department at KhAI and one of the largest IT departments in Kharkiv.
We offer Bachelor’s degree programs in two specializations: F5 “Cybersecurity and Information Protection” and F7 “Computer Engineering.”.
Specialty F7 "Computer Engineering"
The educational program forms knowledge and practical skills in:
- modern programming languages and technologies, testing and resource management of computer systems tools;
- software platforms for application development;
- system programming;
- software development, mobile and web programming technologies;
- databases development;
- embedded technologies and smart systems;
- cloud and edge technologies;
- distributed processing and storage technologies Big Data;
- computer game technologies;
- extended (augmented and virtual AR/VR) reality;
- programming and development of artificial intelligence systems and services, Internet of Things systems for medical, transport, energy and other complexes;
- technologies of DevOps integration and deployment.
Successful completion of the specialty ensures employment in prestigious companies (at the positions of programmer, software developer, system IT engineer and administrator, test engineer, etc.) and continuing education at the master’s level.
Specialty F5 "Cybersecurity and Information Protection"
The educational program forms knowledge and practical skills in:
- modern technologies for cybersecurity of computer systems and networks;
- cryptographic algorithms and protocols development;
- antivirus protection, integrated protection systems and security management.
The program also studies:
- modern mobile and web programming technologies, secure operating systems and databases development, cloud and Internet services;
- ethical hacking technologies, intelligent systems of comprehensive protection and security management.
Successful completion of the educational program ensures employment in prestigious companies and information security departments (at the positions of programmer, information security system developer, IT security engineer, etc.) and continuing education at the master’s level.
