The Department of Computer Systems, Networks and Cybersecurity is the largest department in the Kharkiv Institute of Information Technology and one of the largest IT departments in Kharkiv.
We train masters in two specialties: 123 «Computer Engineering» (1 year 4 months or 1 year 9 months of study) and 125 «Cybersecurity and Information Protection» (1 year 4 months of study).
Specialty 123 — Computer Engineering
Master's degree (1 year 4 months of study)
Educational and professional program provides practical skills and knowledge of the principles, methods and technologies of system programming and modeling; parallel programming for high-performance systems for distributed processing and storage of Big Data, augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence; development, research and evaluation of dependable service-oriented systems and cloud services, software and hardware complexes of critical application.
Successful completion of the educational program ensures employment in prestigious companies and R&D centers in relevant positions.

Educational and scientific program provides forms the ability to produce new ideas, solve complex problems of research and innovation, practical skills and knowledge of the principles, methods and technologies of system programming and modeling; parallel programming for high-performance systems for distributed processing and storage of Big Data, augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence; development, research and evaluation of dependable service-oriented systems and cloud services, software and hardware complexes of critical application.
Successful completion of the educational program ensures employment in prestigious companies and R&D centers in relevant positions, in higher education institutions, as well as continuing education at the level of doctors of philosophy.
Specialty 125 — Cybersecurity and Information Protection
Educational and professional program (1 year 4 months of study) provides practical skills and knowledge of the principles, methods and technologies of development, modeling, monitoring, auditing and management of cybersecurity of information and communication systems and critical infrastructure, as well as optimization of information and functional security with standards and constraints.
Successful completion of the educational program ensures employment in prestigious companies, R&D centers and organizations involved in the development, audit and implementation of cybersecurity systems and policies, in relevant positions.
